The Titan Pro is our Player Grade English willow cricket bat and the best all-rounder we make. It carries 8–12 straight grains with tight, uniform spacing on an essentially flawless face, 40–42mm edges and a 63–66mm spine, with a weight range of 1150–1250g and a Sarawak cane handle. Every Titan Pro is hydraulically pressed through eight stages and hand-shaped in our own Meerut facility.
Player Grade sits at the top of the standard English willow hierarchy — the clefts a maker would put in front of a professional. It describes the timber, not the workmanship. The pressing, the handle, the warranty and the customisation on this bat are identical to our ₹7,999 Surge. What you are buying at ₹49,999 is the finest willow we can source, shaped into a bat that does everything rather than one thing.
Dimensionally the Titan Pro matches our Dominator exactly, and that is deliberate. It is available in all seven sizes with all five sweet spot profiles and all three handle shapes, so it suits an opener facing the new ball as readily as a finisher clearing the rope. If your role is specifically power hitting, our Apex Limited is the more focused choice.

- You play serious club cricket. The Dominator at ₹36,999 is dimensionally identical in Grade 1+ willow and will do almost everything this bat does.
- Your job is to clear the boundary. The Apex Limited at ₹42,999 is a dedicated power bat — no concaving, 1220g minimum.

Player Grade — the clefts we would give a professional
A Player Grade cleft has everything the grades below require, plus uniformity. The grains are not merely straight and tightly spaced — they are consistent in spacing from edge to edge and from toe to shoulder, on a face with essentially nothing to explain away. That uniformity is what produces a blade whose response barely changes as you move across it, which is what matters when you are batting for three hours against varied bowling. It is the top of the standard hierarchy, and there is nothing above it that is not simply a rarer version of the same thing.
Eight hydraulic press stages — the same process as our premium bats
Every Titan Pro passes through eight separate hydraulic press stages, pressure raised progressively across face, edges and toe. Most bats at this price see two to four, because pressing takes time and time costs money. The extra stages compress the surface fibres into a harder, more responsive skin — which is why the Titan Pro arrives closer to ready than most Player Grade bats, and why the ping holds through a full season. This is the one thing we won't cut, at any price point.
Every cleft inspected by hand before it becomes a bat
Clefts arrive pre-graded, but grading happens in bulk and it misses things. Before a cleft is pressed, one of our bat makers checks it individually for grain run-out, internal cracks, soft patches and toe integrity. Clefts that fail are rejected outright rather than quietly moved down a grade. A Titan Pro is an exceptional, uniformly grained cleft — the grade describes how clean it looks, never how well it was made.
Factory direct — you pay for willow and labour, nothing else
A bat leaving a Meerut factory normally passes through a distributor, a wholesaler and a retailer before it reaches a player, each adding margin. We removed all three. That is the entire reason a hand-made Player Grade English willow bat sits at ₹49,999 here rather than at the multiple of that figure Player Grade willow reaches once it has passed through a retail chain. Built to your specification, not to a warehouse average
Customisation is normally reserved for the top of a range. On the Titan Pro you still choose your sweet spot from five player profiles, your size from seven, your handle shape from three, and you can request a weight preference so we hand-pick a matching cleft. Nothing is pre-made and warehoused. Your bat is shaped after you order it — which is why the pickup feels like yours rather than an average.

The top of the ladder
What separates Player Grade from Grade 1+
This is the most expensive standard grade of English willow, and the honest account of what it buys you is more useful than the marketing one.
Uniformity, not just tightness
Grade 1+ requires grains that are straight, tightly spaced and free of run-out at the edges. Player Grade requires all of that plus consistency — spacing that stays even from edge to edge and from toe to shoulder, on a face with essentially nothing to explain away. That uniformity produces a blade whose response barely changes as contact moves across it, which is what matters when you are batting for three hours against varied bowling rather than hitting six balls in a net.
The part most pages leave out
The visual difference between a very good Grade 1+ cleft and a Player Grade cleft is smaller than the price gap implies. At this level you are into diminishing returns, and we would rather you knew that before you spent ₹13,000 more than our Dominator than discover it afterwards.
The performance difference is real but modest. The consistency difference matters most over a long season at a high standard of cricket. If you play representative or professional cricket, that is worth paying for. If you play serious club cricket, the Dominator will do almost everything this bat does, and we sell plenty of them to people who could afford this one.
What professionals actually choose on
Ask a professional how they picked their bat and very few will start with grain count. They pick up six bats of the same nominal spec and choose the one that feels right — balance, pickup, how the mass sits through the swing. Many will reject a visually flawless bat in favour of a lower-grade one that suits their hands better.
That is why grade is only half the decision, and why every Titan Pro is built to your sweet spot position, your size, your handle shape and your weight preference. The willow is the best we can source. The bat is whatever you tell us to make of it.

How to knock in your Titan Pro English willow bat
The eight press stages do most of the conditioning before the bat leaves us. What's left is yours — and skipping it is the single most common reason an English willow bat fails early.

What bat grade do professional cricketers use? +
Professionals typically use Player Grade or equivalent clefts, but the honest answer is more nuanced. Most professionals select a bat by pickup and feel rather than by counting grains, and many will reject a visually flawless bat that doesn't feel right in the hands in favour of a lower-grade one that does. Grade tells you how mature and clean the timber is. It doesn't tell you whether a particular bat suits your hands — which is why we let you choose sweet spot, weight, size and handle shape.
What's the difference between the Titan Pro and the Dominator? +
Dimensionally they're identical: 40–42mm edges, 63–66mm spine, 1150–1250g, seven sizes, five sweet spot profiles, three handle shapes. The difference is entirely the cleft. The Dominator is Grade 1+ with 7–9 grains at ₹36,999. The Titan Pro is Player Grade with 8–12 grains, tighter and more uniform, on a flawless face, at ₹49,999. In practical match terms the gap narrows considerably at this level.
Is a Player Grade cricket bat worth the extra money? +
It depends on what you want from it. If you play representative or professional cricket where consistency matters over a long season, the tighter and more uniform grain of a Player Grade cleft is a genuine advantage. If you play serious club cricket, the Dominator at ₹36,999 will do almost everything this bat does. We'd rather say that plainly than let you assume the price difference reflects a proportional difference in performance — it doesn't.
What's the difference between the Titan Pro and the Apex Limited? +
They're built for different jobs. The Titan Pro is our best all-round bat — conventionally shaped, five sweet spot profiles, seven sizes, suited to every format and batting position. The Apex Limited is a power bat with a fixed full profile, no concaving, a 1220g minimum and five adult sizes only. Choose the Titan Pro for the finest willow in a bat that does everything; the Apex if your role is specifically to clear the boundary.
What sizes does the Titan Pro come in? +
Seven sizes: Size 5, Size 6, Harrow, Short Handle (SH), Long Blade (LB), Long Handle (LH) and Long Blade Long Handle (LBLH) — covering players from roughly age 9 through to tall adults. Choose by height rather than age, and if you're between two sizes take the smaller one.
Can I customise the Titan Pro? +
Yes — every Titan Pro is built to order. Choose your sweet spot position from the five player profiles, your bat size, and your handle shape (round, oval or semi-oval), and note a weight preference in the order notes so we hand-pick a matching cleft. How long does the Titan Pro take to knock in? +
Around 8–10 hours of mallet work across three to four weeks — longer than our lower grades. Tight-grained timber is denser and less forgiving of rushed preparation, so patience matters more on this bat than on any other we make. Follow with old-ball throw-downs before you face a new leather ball. Oil first: two light coats of raw linseed, 24 hours apart, none on the splice or handle.
Do more grains mean a better cricket bat? +
Not on their own. More grains mean older, denser timber, which typically gives a crisper response but can also mean a blade that's less forgiving if it isn't knocked in properly. Straightness, absence of grain run-out at the edges, and the pressing all matter more than the number you can count on the face. The Titan Pro carries 8–12 grains because that's what Player Grade clefts produce, not because we chase a number.
What does the 12-month handle warranty cover? +
It covers handle failure under normal leather ball cricket use for 12 months from delivery. It does not cover blade damage from mis-hits, damage from wet or waterlogged balls, use in tennis ball cricket, or damage traceable to an incomplete knocking-in process. If something goes wrong, message us on WhatsApp with photos and we'll assess it directly — no retailer in between.
