Cielsports LLP has manufactured cricket bats in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh since 2019. Meerut produces the large majority of the world's cricket bats, including a great many sold under names you would recognise. We grade, press, shape and finish everything in our own workshop — there is no third factory behind us.
Most manufacturers will not talk to you below several hundred units. Our minimum order is 30 bats, and you can mix grades and sizes to reach it. That is low on purpose. It lets a club stock a season, an academy kit out its age groups, or a new brand test a market without committing to inventory it cannot move.
We manufacture under our own name and under yours. OEM and white label production means your logo, your stickers, your colourways and your naming, on bats built to a specification you set — profile, sweet spot, edge thickness, spine height, weight range and size distribution.
How a wholesale order works
From first message to delivered batch
No sales team, no account manager, no portal. You deal with Akshat or Utkarsh directly, from the first enquiry to the shipping documents.

Why it matters who makes it
Manufacturer, not middleman
Eight hydraulic press stages, on every bat at every grade
Pressing compresses the surface fibres into a harder, more responsive skin. Most bats are pressed two to four times, because pressing takes time and time costs money. Every bat we make passes through eight separate stages — wholesale and retail alike. We do not run a shorter process for bulk orders, because the pressing is what makes the bat.
Every cleft inspected by hand before it is pressed
Clefts arrive pre-graded, but bulk grading is coarse and it misses things. One of our bat makers checks each cleft individually for grain run-out, internal cracks, soft patches and toe integrity. Clefts that fail are rejected rather than quietly moved down a grade — which is what keeps a batch consistent rather than merely average.
A trading company cannot change a profile for you
Much of what is sold as "manufacturing" in this industry is sourcing. A trader can get you bats; they cannot alter an edge profile, hold a weight band across 200 units, or tell you why one batch plays differently from the last. We can, because the presses are ours.
Forty bats a day, deliberately
Factories turning out three thousand a day cannot give every bat the same attention — a handful get the care and the rest go out as they are. At forty, every bat gets the same hands and the same grading. It is why our minimum order can be 30 and still be worth our time.

Most suppliers cannot show you a factory, because they do not have one. This is ours — cleft grading, eight-stage hydraulic pressing, hand shaping and finishing.

What is your minimum order quantity for wholesale cricket bats? +
Our minimum order quantity is 30 bats. That applies to English willow and Kashmir willow alike, and you can mix grades and sizes within the same order to reach it. Thirty is deliberately low for a manufacturer, because it lets a club, an academy or a new brand place a first order without committing to inventory they cannot move.
Do you manufacture cricket bats under our own brand? +
Yes. We manufacture OEM and white label bats under your brand, with your logo, your stickers, your colourways and your naming. You own the brand entirely. We can work from artwork you supply or help you develop stickers and blade branding, and we can laser engrave your mark into the willow itself rather than only applying decals.
How long does a wholesale order take? +
Manufacturing takes 10 days from the point your specification and artwork are confirmed. International transit then takes a further 8 to 10 days, so allow roughly 18 to 20 days door to door. Domestic Indian orders are quicker. We will give you a firm date when we confirm the order, and we send photographs of the finished batch before dispatch.
Do you manufacture Kashmir willow bats as well? +
Yes. We manufacture a full Kashmir willow range alongside our nine English willow bats, and both are available for wholesale and OEM orders. Kashmir willow is the right choice for tennis ball cricket, for academy stock bats, and for markets where the price point matters more than premium performance. Many of our wholesale customers order both.
Can we specify our own profiles and weights? +
Yes. Blade profile, sweet spot position, edge thickness, spine height, weight range, handle shape and size distribution across the order are all yours to specify. If you are not sure what to ask for, tell us the market and the standard of cricket your customers play and we will recommend a specification. This is the part most factories will not do with a 30-bat order.
What willow grades can we order? +
Everything from entry-level English willow through Grade 1, Grade 1+, Player Grade and our ultra premium clefts, plus the full Kashmir willow range. Within a single order you can mix grades, which is how most academies and retailers buy: a volume of entry and club grade with a smaller number of premium bats at the top of the range.
Do you press bats the same way for wholesale orders? +
Yes, identically. Every bat we make, wholesale or retail, passes through eight separate hydraulic press stages with pressure raised progressively across the face, edges and toe. Most factories press two to four times because pressing takes time. We do not run a different process for bulk orders, because the pressing is what makes the bat.
Can we order a sample before committing? +
Yes, and we recommend it. Order a single bat at retail to assess the willow, the pressing and the finish before you place a wholesale order. If you then order in bulk, tell us and we will treat the sample as part of the discussion. Judging a manufacturer from photographs is a bad idea, and we would rather you had one in your hands.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company? +
We are a manufacturer. Cielsports LLP grades, presses, shapes and finishes every bat in our own facility in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. You can watch the process in the factory video on this page. This matters when you are buying wholesale, because a trading company cannot control specification, cannot guarantee consistency across a batch, and cannot change a profile for you.
What does it cost? +
Wholesale pricing depends on the grade, the specification and the quantity, so we quote per order rather than publishing a rate card that would be wrong for most enquiries. Do you supply clubs and academies directly? +
Yes, and they are among our most frequent wholesale customers. A 30-bat minimum suits an academy stocking a season or a club kitting out age-group sides. We can supply a mix of sizes from Size 5 upward, engrave the club name into the blade, and match a colourway to your kit.
