What makes this one different
Chevron — a firmer feel that lasts longer
The chevron is a directional pattern, and directional patterns behave differently from dots under a hand that moves.
A chevron is a V running around the handle. Unlike raised dots, which sit proud and deform under pressure, a chevron pattern is cut into a more continuous rubber surface. That gives a firmer, less tacky feel — the handle sits in the hand rather than sticking to it.
The practical benefit is wear. Your top hand rotates through a shot, and that rotation is what abrades a grip. Raised dots take that abrasion on their tips and round off. A chevron spreads the same wear across a longer edge, so the pattern survives noticeably longer under the same use.
The trade is tack in the wet. If your hands sweat heavily or you play in real humidity, the raised dots on our Killer grip at ₹600 will hold better. Neither grip is the better product — they suit different hands and different conditions.

How many grips are in a pack? +
Six, which works out at roughly Rs 117 a grip. Grips are consumable and need replacing more often than players expect, so we sell them in packs rather than singly.
What is the difference between the Players and Killer grips? +
Texture. The Players is a chevron or V pattern, which gives a firmer, less tacky feel and wears longer because the pattern spreads abrasion across a longer edge rather than on the tips of raised dots. The Killer is ribbed with raised dots, which is tackier and grips better when your hands are wet. Players is Rs 700 for six, Killer is Rs 600.
Which grip is better for sweaty hands? +
The Killer ribbed dotted grip. Raised dots deform under the fingers and create more friction for the same grip pressure, which is exactly what you want when your hands are wet. The chevron pattern on the Players grip is firmer and less tacky, which suits dry hands and lasts longer.
How often should I change my cricket bat grip? +
When it stops gripping, usually once or twice a season for a regular cricketer. Rubber perishes with heat, sweat and age. A grip that has gone shiny or hard is not doing its job, and a bat that slips costs you far more than a grip does.
How do I fit a new cricket bat grip? +
Roll the grip onto a grip cone, slide the cone over the top of the handle, and roll the grip down. A strong plastic bag over the handle works if you do not have a cone. Remove the old grip first and check the twine binding underneath - if it has frayed, replace that before the new grip goes on.
Do these grips fit all cricket bats? +
Yes, all standard cricket bat handles including short handle, long handle and junior sizes. The rubber stretches over the handle and holds by tension.
Can I use two grips on one bat? +
Yes. A second grip thickens the hold and adds a little weight at the top of the handle, which raises the balance point and makes the bat feel lighter in the hands even though it weighs more on the scale. Plenty of players prefer it.
Do you supply grips to clubs and academies in bulk? +
