What makes this one different
Ribbed and dotted — what the texture actually does
Grips look like a cosmetic choice. The texture is not, and it is the reason we make two different ones.
Raised dots increase tack. Each dot is a small contact point that deforms slightly under your fingers, which means more friction for the same grip pressure. That matters most when your hands are wet — humid afternoons, long innings, nervous last overs. A ribbed dotted grip is the one to buy if your hands sweat.
Ribbing runs around the handle, which resists the grip rotating in your hands during a shot. Together the two textures give the most secure hold we make, and it is why this is the grip we fit as standard.
The alternative is our Players chevron grip at ₹700, which uses a directional V pattern instead. Chevron gives a slightly firmer, less tacky feel and tends to wear longer under a top hand that rotates through the shot. Neither is better — they suit different hands.
Six grips to a pack because grips are consumable. They perish, they get slippery with age, and a bat that has been sitting in a kit bag for a season usually needs a new one before it needs anything else.

How many grips are in a pack? +
Six. That works out at roughly Rs 100 a grip. Grips are consumable - they perish, they go slippery with age and they need replacing far more often than players expect - so we sell them in packs rather than singly.
What is the difference between the Killer and Players grips? +
Texture. The Killer is ribbed with raised dots, which increases tack and grips better when your hands are wet - the right choice if you sweat or play in humidity. The Players is a chevron pattern, which gives a firmer, less tacky feel and tends to wear longer under a top hand that rotates through the shot. The Killer is Rs 600 for six, the Players Rs 700.
How often should I change my cricket bat grip? +
When it stops gripping, which is usually once or twice a season for a regular cricketer. Rubber perishes with heat, sweat and age. A grip that has gone shiny or hard is no longer doing its job, and a bat that slips in the hands costs you far more than a grip does.
How do I put a new grip on a cricket bat? +
Roll the grip onto a grip cone, slide the cone over the handle top, and roll the grip down the handle. If you do not have a cone, a strong plastic bag over the handle works. Remove the old grip first, and check the twine binding underneath while you are there - if the binding has frayed, that needs replacing before the grip goes back on.
Do these grips fit all cricket bats? +
Yes, they fit all standard cricket bat handles - short handle, long handle and junior sizes. The rubber stretches over the handle and holds by tension.
What colours are available? +
Black, red, blue, purple and white. All five are the same grip with the same texture and the same price.
Can I use two grips on one bat? +
Yes, and many players do. A second grip adds a little weight at the top of the handle and thickens the hold, which some batters prefer for control. It also raises the balance point slightly, which makes the bat feel lighter in the hands even though it is heavier on the scale.
Do you supply grips to clubs and academies in bulk? +
