Every bat we sell is graded, pressed, shaped and finished in our own workshop, then shipped directly to the player.
The UAE is our closest export market. A bat leaving Meerut reaches Dubai in three to four days, which means a bespoke bat built entirely to your specification can be in your hands inside ten days — faster than most local shops can order one in.
Every bat is made to order: your player profile, your exact weight, your handle shape, your size and your name laser-engraved on the blade — at no extra charge.
We make a maximum of forty bats a day. Factories that turn out three thousand cannot give every bat the same attention — they choose a handful to lavish care on and the rest go out as they are. Choosing a bat for UAE conditions
Gulf cricket is played in heat, on a mix of turf and matting, with sand-heavy outfields that are brutal on a bat's toe. That should shape what you order and how you look after it.
Profile
Mid to mid-low swell
Matting and hard turf both bring the ball on quickly and fairly low. A mid to mid-low swell keeps the sweet spot where you actually make contact, and suits the aggressive, boundary-hunting cricket most Gulf leagues are played at.
Durability
Toe protection is essential
Sand-based outfields and abrasive matting wear a toe down faster here than almost anywhere. Every bat ships with a toe guard fitted, and we recommend replacing it mid-season rather than waiting for damage.
Care
Heat is the real enemy
Cars, balconies and unairconditioned storerooms regularly exceed 50°C in a Gulf summer, which dries willow out and makes it brittle. Store your bat indoors, and oil lightly twice a season rather than once.

How long does delivery take?
Your bat is built in 5 days, which includes crafting, oiling, knocking in and fitting a toe guard. Tracked transit then takes 3-4 days, so the total is 9-10 days from confirming your specification to the bat arriving. We send photographs of the finished bat and a tracking number before it ships.

Roughly 70 percent of the world's cricket bats are made in Meerut, India, including many sold under well-known brand names. Those bats pass through a brand, an exporter, an importer and a retailer, each adding margin before reaching the shelf. Buying direct from the workshop removes those layers. The willow, the pressing and the craftsmanship are unchanged; only the supply chain is shorter.
Are the bats customised for each player?
Yes, and there is no extra charge. Every English willow bat is built to order with your choice of player profile, exact weight, handle shape, size and your name laser engraved on the blade. We make a maximum of forty bats a day precisely so that every one can be built this way.
Do the bats arrive ready to play?
Every bat is knocked in and fitted with a protective toe guard before dispatch, and oiled during the build. That means far less preparation at your end, though we always recommend a further period of gentle mallet work and some throwdowns with an older ball before facing a hard new ball in a match.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every English willow bat carries a 12-month handle warranty, which applies in the UAE exactly as it does in India. If something goes wrong you message the founders directly on WhatsApp rather than dealing with a retailer or a support queue.
Do you sell complete cricket kits for UAE players?
Yes. Alongside the bat range we manufacture batting gloves, batting pads and tennis-ball bats, so a single order can cover most of a kit. Tell us your size and level on WhatsApp and we will put together a kit quote in dirhams, including the bat built to your specification.
How fast can a bat reach Dubai?
Faster than anywhere else we ship. Your bat is built in five days, and transit from Meerut to the UAE is typically three to four days — so about nine to ten days from confirming your specification to the bat arriving. Shipping is a flat AED 162.
