Overview
Killer Anti-Scuff Sheets — cricket bat anti scuff sheet
3M film. The cheapest thing you can do for a bat.
Thick anti-scuff facing sheets made from 3M material, in a pack of three — roughly ₹233 a sheet. Made in our own Meerut facility and sold direct, which is why it costs ₹700 against an MRP of ₹1,200 — there is no distributor, wholesaler or retailer margin in the price.
What makes this one different
What an anti-scuff sheet actually prevents
It is the least glamorous thing you can buy for a bat and one of the most useful. Here is the mechanism.
Willow fails on the face in a specific way. A hard ball striking a dry surface lifts and separates the surface fibres, and once the surface is broken, moisture gets in and the crack runs deeper with each subsequent blow. Surface cracking is not cosmetic — it is the beginning of the failure.
An anti-scuff sheet takes that first contact instead of the willow. It is a clear self-adhesive film across the face, and it does two things: it holds the surface fibres together so they cannot lift, and it keeps moisture out of any crack that does form. A bat with a scuff sheet fitted from new will show far less surface damage after a season than the same bat without one.
Why 3M matters here. Cheap facing film goes brittle in heat, yellows, and lifts at the edges within weeks — at which point it is doing nothing and trapping dirt underneath. We use 3M film because it stays flexible and stays stuck, which is the entire job.
Three sheets to a pack because a sheet is consumable and because most cricketers own more than one bat. Trim to fit any size, from junior through to long blade.

Questions players ask
Killer Anti-Scuff Sheets — frequently asked questions
What does an anti-scuff sheet do? +
It takes the first contact instead of the willow. A hard ball striking a dry bat face lifts and separates the surface fibres, and once the surface is broken, moisture gets in and cracks run deeper with every subsequent blow. A scuff sheet holds those fibres together so they cannot lift, and keeps moisture out of any crack that does form.
Is an anti-scuff sheet necessary? +
Not required, but it is the cheapest useful thing you can do for a bat. At roughly Rs 233 a sheet on a bat that might cost Rs 20,000, it is the best value protection available. It will not stop a bat breaking on a mis-hit, but it substantially reduces surface cracking over a season, which is what most bats actually suffer from.
How many sheets are in a pack? +
Three, which works out at roughly Rs 233 a sheet. Most cricketers own more than one bat, and a sheet is consumable - it needs replacing when it lifts or tears.
What material are these scuff sheets made from? +
3M film. Cheap facing film goes brittle in heat, yellows and lifts at the edges within weeks, at which point it is doing nothing and trapping dirt underneath. 3M film stays flexible and stays stuck, which is the entire job of a scuff sheet.
Do these fit all cricket bats? +
Yes. Each sheet is oversized and trimmed to fit, so it works on any size from junior through Harrow, short handle and long blade. Trim with scissors or a blade after application.
How do I apply an anti-scuff sheet? +
Clean and dry the bat face first, then peel the backing and apply from the toe upward, smoothing as you go to avoid trapping air. Work slowly and press out bubbles toward the edge. Trim the excess around the edges and the toe. If the bat has already been oiled, let it dry fully first, because the adhesive will not hold on a damp or oily surface.
Should I oil the bat before or after fitting a scuff sheet? +
Before, and let it dry fully. Oiling protects the willow from drying out and the scuff sheet protects the surface from impact - both are useful and they are not alternatives. Once a sheet is fitted you can only oil the edges, back and toe, which is why the face is done first.
Can I use a scuff sheet on a Kashmir willow bat? +
Yes, and it is just as worthwhile. Kashmir willow is denser than English willow and more forgiving of impact, but the surface fibres still lift on a dry face. Every bat in our range benefits from one.
Do you supply scuff sheets to clubs and academies in bulk? +
Yes. Minimum wholesale order is 30 units, and since each unit is a pack of three that is 90 sheets. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 95481 82993.
Do you ship internationally? +
Yes, to more than 50 countries. Shipping within India is free with Cash on Delivery available. Scuff sheets are light and flat, so they are inexpensive to add to any international order.
