Two things that normally can't happen together. It carries the biggest edges of any conventionally shaped bat we make at 41–43mm, and it also reaches the lightest weight in our entire range at 1130g. Bigger edges usually mean a heavier bat, because the wood has to come from somewhere. On an ultra premium cleft with 9–15 tight, uniform grains the timber is dense and even enough that we can build a bigger profile without the weight penalty. That combination is what the price buys, and it isn't achievable on a lesser cleft at any price.

It's the grade above Player Grade, and it exists because a small number of clefts each year are simply better than the standard hierarchy accounts for. On the Reserve Edition that means 9–15 grains, extremely tight and uniform spacing from edge to edge, no grain run-out anywhere, and a face with nothing on it at all. These are the clefts our bat makers set aside before anything else is graded.

For most cricketers, no — and we say so on every page in this range. The Dominator at ₹36,999 and the Titan Pro at ₹49,999 will serve the overwhelming majority of players completely. The Reserve Edition is for people who understand what they're looking at when they pick up a bat, who want the biggest profile available at a weight they can actually swing, and who value having it built in conversation with the maker. It starts with a conversation rather than a checkout. Message Akshat or Utkarsh on WhatsApp and they'll talk through your batting position, your current bat weight, the shots you rely on and the conditions you play in. From that they select clefts that suit you, send photographs before shaping begins, and confirm profile, weight and handle shape with you. The bat is then hand-shaped, pressed through eight stages, finished, laser engraved, and photographed again before dispatch.

Yes — laser engraving is included at no extra cost. Most customers have their name on the back of the blade, though we've engraved initials, squad numbers, dates and dedications. Tell us what you'd like when you order, or discuss it on WhatsApp beforehand.

The Titan Pro is Player Grade with 8–12 grains, 40–42mm edges and a 1150–1250g range at ₹49,999. The Reserve Edition is ultra premium with 9–15 grains, 41–43mm edges and a 1130–1240g range at ₹59,999. The Reserve is bigger at the edge and lighter at the bottom of its weight band — the practical benefit of a denser, more uniform cleft. It also comes with the personal commissioning process and laser engraving included.

Seven sizes: Size 5, Size 6, Harrow, Short Handle (SH), Long Blade (LB), Long Handle (LH) and Long Blade Long Handle (LBLH), with all five sweet spot profiles and all three handle shapes. Choose by height rather than age, and if you're between two sizes take the smaller one. At this level we'd rather discuss size with you before you order.

Around 10–12 hours of mallet work across four weeks — the longest of any bat we make. Very tight-grained timber is dense and unforgiving of rushed preparation, and a bat at this level deserves the patience. Follow with old-ball throw-downs before you face a new leather ball. Oil first: two light coats of raw linseed, 24 hours apart, none on the splice or handle. Tell us and we'll advise you through the process on WhatsApp as you go.

Because it's commissioned rather than picked from stock, allow longer than our other bats. The consultation and cleft selection happen first, then shaping, pressing, finishing and engraving. Akshat or Utkarsh will give you a realistic timeline when you first message — and they'll tell you honestly if it doesn't suit your season.

It covers handle failure under normal leather ball cricket use for 12 months from delivery. It does not cover blade damage from mis-hits, damage from wet or waterlogged balls, use in tennis ball cricket, or damage traceable to an incomplete knocking-in process.
